Mana-Oye Mi Amor
Mana is another popular musical group in the Mexican rock genre. Mana differs from Cafe Tacuba and the other listening assignments because they are more pop and cater to the general public. I really like them because most of their songs are about love, and lost, and to me, they are very similar to American rock. What do you think?

I really like this band's sound. They are definitely more pop-oriented and geared towards the masses. The similarities to American rock is apparent in the music and also the clothing the band members wear in the video. The messages about love and heartbreak are very similar to messages delivered by superstar bands like The Beatles. Its amazing how the American media has influenced so many Latin American nations likes Cuba and Mexico City.
