This is really cool. I went to look up claves and discovered that many famous bands like The Beatles have used these instruments before. The percussive instruments are used in the song "And I Love Her," off of their successful third album A Hard Day's Night. Here is the link to the video. While it may just be a simple incorporation, do you think The Beatles were looking to mimic the sounds of rumba and son clave beats?
